Yesterday, the boys had off from school, because of the Jewish holidays. I let them sleep until 8:00, and then I went in their room, pulled up the shades, and told them to get dressed. We were going to the science museum in Newark. Five minutes later, we were in the car.
My boys are so used to me grabbing them to do last minute adventures that they didn't blink an eye. They put their clothes on and we were off. We ate breakfast at the museum.
While I'm not a huge fan of Liberity Science Museum, we still had a great time. The place was empty, so we ran from gadget to gadget with no lines. My biggest struggle was keeping both boys in the same room at the same time. Someone was always running off.
Later, they paused their licking war long enough to pose for a picture with their dad.
