I have to take two kids to the dentist in a half hour. The dentist will only see special needs kids in the middle of the day, so I have to pull them both out of school. We just received a quote on getting a new kitchen. Double sigh.
I predict much beer later this afternoon. In the meantime, some links:
Great critique of Leslie Bennetts' book by Elizabeth.
I've been worrying about the polar ice cap all week.
Proposals for shortening the time it takes to finish the PhD. Why do these good ideas always happen after I finish the hurdles? I say the little grad school buggers have to suffer like I did. No changes for them. I'm generous that way.
