When I write about the politics of care, one of issues I inadvertantly leave out is the care of old people. My parents are still in relatively good health (spitting three times), so my experiences of care mostly has to do with the short ones.
Politically it's a mistake to leave out care of old ones, because many childless people must tend to dependent familly membes and could be served by family friendly policies as well.
