A vigilent blogger reported that a bill was proposed in Virginia that would require women to notify their local law enforcement officers if they know that they will soon have a miscarriage. This post was picked up all by a slew of bloggers who wrote the state congressman who sponsored the bill to tell him that he was an ass. He quickly responded to the blogger and changed the language of the bill. I still don't get the rationale behind the bill, but whatever. It's interesting to see the power of the blogosphere. Particularly women bloggers. Many of whom are condescendingly referred to as "mommy" bloggers. See, they're political, too.
